Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics (DPCO) 2010

Geraint is originally from Merthyr Tydfil. He qualified from Cardiff dental school in 1984 initially working in oral surgery before entering general practice in Cwmbran as an associate. He started his own practice in Merthyr in 1986 becoming a vocational trainer, mentoring young dentists and developing this to a 3 dentist and hygienist practice. In 1997 he started working as a clinical assistant in Orthodontics in Prince Charles Hospital and completed the Welsh Postgraduate Orthodontic Training Scheme. Spending more of his clinical time treating orthodontic patients, in 2007  he was on the first intake of students on the Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontic Course run by the Royal College of Surgeons and the British Orthodontic Society, qualifying in 2010.

Additional Qualifications

Equivalent PGCert Endodontics (Chester University), PGDip in Restorative Dentistry, currently completing an MSc in Endo with Chester University.

Special Interest: Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, Implantology.

Started working with Rodericks Dental Partners in Clydach in 2019 taking over an NHS and private list until Dec 2022. Simeon now runs fully private clinics working 2 days in Clydach and the rest of the week working in 2 practices in West Wales.

Outside of work Simeon is a keen hiker and loves to spend time with his beautiful spaniel exploring the hills of the Brecon Beacons, taking in the breathtaking views.

Patrick, born in Bridgend in 1963, qualified from Bristol University in 1986. He joined a dental practice in Barry in 1987, initially working as an associate for five years. In 1992, he became a partner and later became the sole principal in 1999 after buying out his partner.

Patrick dedicated 15 years to training newly qualified dentists, sharing his expertise and passion for the profession. In 2017, he sold his practice to Rodericks Dental Partners and now enjoys working as an associate without the added pressures of running a business. Outside of work, Patrick loves swimming and mountain biking.

With over 15 years’ experience in the profession, I am passionate about helping my patients achieve optimal oral health.

I believe in a gentle and compassionate approach to dental care and I am committed to staying up to date with the latest techniques and technology.

When I am not in work I spend time with my doggie and family exploring the stunning Welsh coastline

As a skilled trainer for seven years, she not only delivers exceptional dental care but also mentors future generations of professionals. Beyond her dental expertise, Suhaila is a talented abstract artist, bringing creativity and attention to detail to her practice. With a special interest in minimal intervention dentistry and prevention, Suhaila ensures that each patient receives personalized care aimed at preserving their natural smile.
