Pratik joined Eastgate Dental Centre in 2008 and has been committed to the highest standards of clinical care and the ongoing process of postgraduate education. In 2009 he obtained membership in dental surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.

He has completed a yearlong Certificate in Advanced Restorative Dentistry and is an accredited provider of cosmetic orthodontic treatments using the Inman Aligner and 6 Month Smiles, having completed over 40 cases. He has also completed a dental implant certificate at the University of Sheffield as well as a Certificate in Medical and Dental Education from Oxford Brookes University and now provides dental implants to patients within the practice. He enjoys spending time with my family and travelling.

Naehali graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012 and embarked on a 10-year career in general practice. Alongside working in general practice, she took on a position at the University of Leeds as a clinical teaching fellow in restorative dentistry, teaching undergraduate students. She also completed a training position in the oral surgery and maxillofacial department. She is dedicated to postgraduate training and has successfully passed her Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS). She has completed several advanced Restorative Dentistry courses. However, Naehali’s passion and special interest in dentistry lies in Periodontics and has completed a Diploma in Periodontics.

Due to her long-spanning career in general practice alongside her special interest in periodontics, she highly appreciates the periodontal/restorative interface. She creates plans not only to treat the periodontium but also to take on a holistic approach, emphasising prevention, spending time with patients to tailor treatment to their specific needs and working around any anxieties they may have. Naehali is happy to accept referrals from local dentists for patients requiring both surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy. Surgical treatments include pocket reduction surgery, surgical correction of recession defects, free gingival grafts to improve the quality of gingiva, and crown lengthening for both functional and aesthetic purposes.

Dr. Paraskar is a highly skilled prosthodontist with a passion for conservatively restoring smiles and improving the quality of life for patients and helping them regain their oral health and confidence.

Dr. Paraskar is a mono-specialist registered on the General Dental Council specialist list for the United Kingdom. She graduated from King’s College London with an MClinDent (Prosthodontics) in 2017 and has further acquired her MRD/MPros degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Prior to her full-time postgraduate education at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London (2014-2017), she acquired her BDS degree in India, where she discovered her passion for prosthetic and restorative dentistry and has since then taken her dental equivalency exams to work and practice in the UK.

Dr. Reem Al-Yamoor is a general dentist who qualified from the University of Mosul, Iraq, in 2005.

She is a member of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. She also holds membership in the British Dental Academy.

Furthermore, Dr Al-Yamoor believes the high quality of education is essential to provide the best services for her patients; she is a specialist with an interest in endodontology (root canal filling). She has completed complex root canal cases over many years, such as blocked canals (sclerosis), root curvature, re-treating a previous root canal, and removing fractured files and instruments that cannot be treated locally or conventionally.

Successfully this field led her to complete a master’s degree in the science of endodontology, which was achieved at a distinction level from the University of Chester. Furthermore, she becomes a member of the British Endodontic Society for further training and education.

Dr Al-Yamoor believes that the best gap replacement option after tooth extraction is an implant; for this reason, she has successfully completed her postgraduate training in oral implants from the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry in Leeds.

Additionally, Dr Al-Yamoor is a published dentist, having research work published in one of the American, Canadian and European journals, helping her colleagues’ education and knowledge in the most updated Sciences in Endodontology.

Generally, Reem likes to listen to jazz music, swim, play guitar, travel with her family and socially meet with her friends.

Dinesh graduated from King's College London and has gained a great deal of experience practising in different settings, including a year in Australia. He is committed to providing excellent dental care and has a friendly, calm approach. Dinesh has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and has completed a year long certificate course in aesthetic dentistry. Dinesh is also an Invisalign Go provider. He is currently a Foundation Dental Trainer and PLVE Mentor, having completed a certificate in medical and dental education from Oxford Brookes University.

Dr Saagar is one of our Associate Dentists who qualified from Barts and the London. He is known for his bubbly personality and friendly smile. Saagar relishes the challenge of general dental practice and particularly enjoys helping his patients overcome dental anxiety or improve the appearance of their teeth. Saagar regularly attends courses to keep his knowledge and skills up to date. Saagar has gained a postgraduate diploma in oral surgery from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England and accepts referrals for difficult extractions.

Dr. Rishi Patel graduated from King’s College London and subsequently carried out a maxillofacial surgery post for a year to gain wider experience and training in surgical procedures.

He has since also gained a Master's in Restorative Dentistry from UCL to further improve his skill set and offer his patients the best care possible.
He has an interest in aesthetic dentistry, namely composite bonding, Invisalign and treating tooth wear, as well as routine dentistry.

Olly enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has undertaken further training in prosthodontics and restorative work. He is keen to get the best outcomes possible for his patients. Outside of work he enjoys football, running and golf.

Dr Aleena Jamil is a general dentist with a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dentistry is a great passion of mine. From creating a rapport with patients to perfecting their smiles, I strive for it all.

I graduated from the European University of Valencia. My desire to provide state-of-the art dentistry led me to further qualify by completing postgraduate aesthetic and orthodontic courses as well as completing my masters in restorative dentistry at the renounced Eastman Dental School at UCL.

Providing care to patients for over 25 years, Shelha has gained a lot of experience and knowledge, which helps her achieve her goal of providing each patient she treats with the results they desire. Shivani graduated from King’s College London in 2023 and enjoys providing all aspects of general dentistry. She has a particular interest in posterior restorative treatments and oral surgery. Dr Gohil qualified in 2010 and did her VTE in Scotland. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry specifically restorative and Endodontics .

Nicola is a specialist orthodontist with over 15 years of experience providing a full range of orthodontic treatment for both adults and children. Nicola qualified as a dentist in 2002, and following this, worked in paediatric dentistry and maxillofacial surgery for three years. Nicola then completed a further three years of specialist training in orthodontics at Bristol University, gaining her specialist qualification and doctorate in dental science. Dr Cecilia Sanchez qualified as a dentist in 1993 and qualified as a specialist in orthodontics in 2006. In addition to orthodontics, Cecilia has a special interest in temporomandibular disorders (TMD), and she attends regular meetings on this topic. She has completed a master's at the La Sapienza University of Rome and different clinical courses on TMD. Cecilia is fluent in Spanish, English and Italian.

Samantha is also one of our lovely therapists, having qualified as an orthodontic therapist in 2019. Samantha is a very caring and compassionate person who is hard-working and thorough in her approach to her work. In her spare time Samantha enjoys spending time with her partner and friends, attending gigs, festivals and trying new vegan recipes.

Lorraine qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1996 at The Royal Army Dental Training School. Her extensive career has encompassed diverse practice settings, and we are pleased to have had her as a valued member of the Eastgate Dental Practice team since 2011. Demonstrating a commitment to professional development, Lorraine regularly participates in continuing education courses to remain current with contemporary concepts in dentistry and uphold her clinical proficiency.

Known for her gentle and approachable demeanour, Lorraine prioritises collaborative relationships with her patients. She is dedicated to developing individualised healthcare plans that facilitate optimal oral health outcomes. Furthermore, Lorraine works in close collaboration with our periodontist, providing crucial support to patients undergoing treatment for periodontal disease. Appointments with Lorraine are available via referral from your Eastgate Dental practitioner or through Direct Access, without the prerequisite of prior consultation with an Eastgate Dental dentist.

I qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist in March 2020 with a diploma.

During my training I have had experience in restorative dentistry on paediatric and adult patients, periodontal treatment, implant treatment, and paediatric extractions.

I have since completed a course in acid peels, dermaplaning and microneedling.

I aim to expand my scope to the maximum of my potential, hopefully eventually branching into facial aesthetics.

Anisah qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist at The University of Essex in 2020.
She has worked in a number of practices and has experience dealing with all types of patients, especially nervous patients.

Carman Bogdan is a dedicated dental hygienist who graduated from Bari University in 2020. With a passion for promoting oral health and preventive care, she has been actively practicing in the UK, where she focuses on providing personalised care to patients. Carmen strongly believes in educating patients about maintaining optimal oral hygiene, conducting thorough cleanings, and identifying patient satisfaction and overall health, and she trusts that during a dental hygiene appointment she can improve a patient’s oral hygiene routine. Maruf Hussain is a GDC registered (reg 248283) hygienist and therapist. He has a special interest in periodontology and is keen on taking a masters course in this specialised area.

As a clinician, Maruf is known for his empathic and competent approach to helping patients overcome dental phobia. He’s also dedicated to supporting his patients in making positive changes to their oral habits, which can greatly improve their periodontal health.
