Alexander obtained his first degree in Dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece 2005). Working in the family’s private dental practice in Greece wasn’t enough to fulfil his thirst for knowledge and when the opportunity arose, he relocated to the United Kingdom in 2007, with the purpose of pursuing further education and gaining experience in a different working environment. As he has always been fascinated by the potential and possibility of Orthodontics to alter a person’s facial profile and consequently improve their confidence and even their lifestyle for the better, he steered his career towards Orthodontics.

In 2012, Alexander obtained the certificate of Orthodontics from the University of Warwick, he became an Invisalign provider and in 2018 graduated with the MSc course of Orthodontics from the University of Warwick. His attention to detail ensures the highest standard of Orthodontic care here at Eastwood Dental Practice. Alexander attends a range of courses to keep up to date with the current thinking and with modern advances in braces, and he is an avid user of the Damon System

I am a Cosmetic Dental Surgeon and Facial Aesthetics Doctor who graduated in 2009 from General Medicine University after 6 years of study. Since 2009 until present, I have worked as an Associate Dentist in NHS and Private Dental Practice.

My passion for Facial Aesthetics started after completing a one-year Postgraduate in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetics at Dr Paul Tipton's Academy in Manchester. I am a member of the General Dental Council and a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2015, I developed my interest in Facial Aesthetics, Cosmetic Dentistry & Orthodontics. Since 2015, I have been providing all areas of Facial Aesthetic treatments and Rejuvenation. I am continuously learning and joining courses to provide new procedures for my patients.

Dr Jonida Katroshi became a dentist because of her passion for making beautiful smiles, the joy of the art of cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. 

She is committed to providing the best possible outcomes for each patient with painless and comfortable procedures and it is common for her patients to say “You really made me feel at ease and I am no longer scared of the dentists”

Dr Katroshi graduated in 2020 from Bulgaria University, where she was awarded with a master’s degree after 6 years. She also graduated as a dental technician in 2012 with a BSc in Dental Technology, Dental Technology Department of Technological Education Institute of Athens. Dr Katroshi has travelled extensively worldwide to refine her skills in smile design, smile reconstruction and aesthetics. She has attended innumerable ‘hands-on’ courses and dental conferences. Her passion is constantly updating her dental knowledge and experience through Education and innovation in new techniques and new materials.

When not working Dr Katroshi enjoys travelling, exercising at the gym, reading, music and spending time with her loved ones.

Better known as ‘Rocky’ by the team and his patients, Dr Takhar has worked as a Dentist in Nottingham in various practices, ever since qualifying from Valencia, Spain in 2016. Rocky’s daily motivation has been to provide a thorough and personalized service to all his patients. His day-to-day work is geared towards biomimetic, minimally invasive general dentistry and cosmetic dental work.

Rocky also provides dental Implants here at Eastwood Dental Centre. Each case is extensively planned to ensure success and longevity.   

He is experienced in smile rehabilitations, focusing on providing biomechanically sound yet aesthetic restorations. He has completed restorative courses run by the likes of Dr Christopher Orr in London Bridge and Dr Didier Dietschi, Senior professor at the University of Geneva.

Outside of work, his life revolves around his wife and their 2 children of ages 3 and 5. He is a calm and understanding person and prides himself on minimising worries and maximising comfort for all of his patients, phobic and otherwise.

Dr Ricky Ruparelia BDS PGCert Rest Aest Dent PGDip Rest Aest Dent MSc (Endo) MFDS RCS(Ed) Dental Surgeon is our endodontist.

Ricky obtained his dental qualification from the University of Manchester. During his undergraduate years, Ricky developed a passion for advanced dentistry. Shortly after his undergraduate studies, Ricky was awarded the Diploma of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

After winning several awards in the field of Endodontics, Ricky completed a 3-year postgraduate master's (MSc) degree, in order to gain the knowledge and skills to treat complex Endodontic cases on referral. Alongside Endodontics, Ricky has also had extensive training in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry from the prestigious Tipton Training Academy, Perio Academy, Frank Spear and The Dawson Academy to name a few.

As a former dental phobic himself, Ricky can empathise with those who are nervous about seeing the dentist. He has a natural ability to put patients at ease and takes considerable pride in providing his patients with high-quality care.

Ricky admits to being a self-confessed foodie and enjoys cooking in his spare time. And if he’s not in the kitchen cooking he’ll either be watching cookery shows on TV or visiting different restaurants!
