Meet our Team at Fieldside Dental Practice

Dr Abraham is an associate dentist with a special interest in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. He completed his bachelors in dentistry in 2001 and post-graduation in orthodontics in 2004.He completed his Master’s in public health from the university of York 2014 and LDRCS from the Royal college of surgeons in 2016. He has been working as an associate dentist ever since. His areas of expertise are clear aligner treatments, composite bonding and smile design. He performs treatments under the NHS and privately. He is approachable, friendly and understands the anxieties and apprehensions regarding dentistry and strives hard to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed. He enjoys playing badminton and travelling with family in his spare time.

Alice graduated from the University of Leeds in 2004 with the Charles Rippon Medal for the most distinguished student in the year. Alice enjoys having the opportunity to make patients feel at ease and has a keen interest in community dentistry. In her spare time, Alice enjoys running, swimming, and cooking new recipes.

Jacob is a friendly and caring dentist who is passionate about making every dental experience as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Jacob offers the full range of general dental care, including general care and maintenance of your dental health, emergency dental care, gum disease treatment, dentures, root canal treatments, tooth whitening, and crowns.

What Jacob enjoys most about dentistry is getting to know his patients. He feels it is important to understand what his patients want from their dental care. Jacob spends lots of time during his appointments listening to his patients and discussing what is important to them.

Jacob qualified from Cardiff University in 2016. Shortly afterwards Jacob passed the entrance examinations to become a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons.

Jacob has completed postgraduate training in maxillofacial surgery, pediatrics, and special care dentistry. This gave Jacob a broad experience from treating cases of serious injury through to care of the elderly and those less able to access high street dental care.

Jacob now lives in Lincolnshire with his wife Kim. Whilst not at work, Jacob enjoys cycling and motorbiking (when the weather’s nice!), seeing live music, or tinkering with his car.

Kabir graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 and focuses on providing quality dental care to both NHS and private patients. He is dedicated to making every patient feel comfortable. Kabir has a passion for restorative dentistry, with a special interest in prosthodontics and crafting dentures. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys football, is an avid cinema-goer, and loves to travel.

Priyadarshan, known as ‘Gaity’ (short for Gaitonde), pursued a 3-year specialization in Oral Surgery, and holds a Master’s Degree, MDS in Oral Surgery, from the University of Bombay prior to obtaining a Fellowship in Dental Surgery FDS RCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He spent invaluable years as an NHS Hospital Dentist working mainly in the Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgery Departments in Cardiff, Plymouth, Royal London & Mount Vernon Hospitals, building further on his surgical dentistry skills before moving into General Dental Practice while always maintaining his special interest in Oral Surgery.

He further undertook a certificate course in 2004 in Implant Dentistry training at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and has since treated hundreds of patients and placed hundreds of implants to date. He also provides surgical implant placements for fellow dentists at external dental practices. Gaity is committed to advancing his skills on an ongoing basis and attends national and international meetings for this to provide cutting-edge dentistry.

Hawa qualified from the University of Leeds in 2023 with a BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. After completing my foundation training with the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery, she has been working in general practice, treating both NHS and private patients. She is dedicated to patient education and preventative care, and I enjoy helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active by going to the gym, and in her free time she also enjoys crocheting and watching Netflix to unwind. 

Katie is a newly qualified Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapist from Sheffield, graduating this summer 2024. Katie is committed within her role at Fieldside, treating patients to aid patients’ oral hygiene and maintain periodontal disease, as well as providing fillings for both adults and children. Katie focuses on providing a holistic approach in order to enhance the oral health of her patients. In Katie’s spare time, she enjoys visiting friends and family, keeping active, & walking her dog!

Leanne is one of our Hygiene Therapists here at the practice. She qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2004. She enjoys educating her patients on the importance of their role in maintaining their oral health at home, as knowledge is key. Her hobbies include travelling, reading and yoga, and in her spare time she enjoys spending her time with her two grandchildren and her Cavapoo.

Natasha graduated from the University of Sheffield with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy in 2018. I have a special interest in treating children and have experience working in the Paediatric Department at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, treating high-needs, anxious, and medically comprised children.

Out of work, she enjoys spending time with her little boy and going on adventures with him. In her spare time she likes to read and enjoy listening to podcasts.

Laura is always on hand to guide all our new and existing patients through different treatment options available here at the practice. Laura is our primary point of contact top book consultations, offer financial advice and answer any enquiries or worries you may have. She is here to guide and support you throughout the whole journey of your treatment here at Fieldside Dental Practice.
