Meet our Team at Lees Dental Centre

Dr Khan has been at our practice since 1985, becoming an integral part of the local community over the decades. With a passion for cosmetic dentistry, Dr Khan is committed to helping patients achieve their best smiles. Recently, he has taken on the rewarding role of mentoring overseas dentists, sharing his expertise and experience. Outside of the practice, Dr Khan enjoys staying active by playing squash and taking long walks.

Ramya is a registered hygienist/therapist with GDC since 2020. She is also an overseas dentist working towards getting her dental license in the UK. Ramya prioritises her patients first and ensures they are treated well in a relaxing atmosphere. She has also completed advanced training in treating patients with gum disease which helps her to identify and provide appropriate treatments and recalls. Her patients enjoy their teeth cleaned and say she has a light hand.

Shumaila trained and graduated from Dow University of Health Sciences, Kerachi, Pakistan, in 2016. She completed her ORE examination in 2024 to work in primary care in England.

Shumaila is particularly interested in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and offers a wide range of treatments, including aesthetic white fillings, composite bonding, and crowns. She takes the needs of each patient individually and understands the importance of listening and keeping you at ease. From the initial check-up appointment, her friendly, calm, and approachable manner makes you feel relaxed. Shumaila prides herself on patient care and is devoted to forever improving her dental skills by regularly attending courses and keeping up to date with modern dental techniques. On a personal level, Shumaila is a mother to two amazing girls and loves spending time with them. She also likes to socialise and travel the world.
