She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Cardiff University in 2013 and completed her foundation training in South Wales, whilst furthering her training in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine at the University Dental Hospital, Cardiff. Since then, Laurie has dedicated her career to hospital-based oral surgery. Laurie has been a senior member of the Oral and Maxillofacial team at Royal Gwent Hospital since 2017, performing simple and complex oral surgery under both local and general anaesthesia, whilst regularly participating in the on-call rota. Laurie has recently been awarded the Dentist with Enhanced Skills (DES) in Oral Surgery accreditation, reflecting her experience within the field.

Laurie is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow) and the British Association of Oral Surgeons. Dedicated to high-quality, patient-centred care, she also teaches and supervises dental trainees, contributing to the advancement of oral surgery expertise.

Her private practice at London Road involves a variety of dentoalveolar surgery under local anaesthetic, including simple dental extractions, surgical removal of impacted teeth and roots, as well as complex wisdom tooth removal. She also offers consultations for patients seeking second opinions or advice on surgical treatment options, and ensures appropriate referrals to hospital care when needed.

Laurie is a compassionate surgeon who always strives to put patients at ease, particularly those who are anxious and goes out of her way to ensure a positive experience.

In her spare time, Laurie enjoys cycling, playing squash, and the never-ending renovations on her home. She also loves spending time with family and her partner, Lewis, indulging in eating out, and travelling, which fuel her passion for staying active with a variety of sports.

Chakshu Gaba is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care. After graduating from India, Chakshu further honed their expertise by qualifying through exams in the UK, expanding their knowledge and skills to offer the best care to patients. With a special interest in root canal treatments, Chakshu's primary goal is to help patients become free of pain while enhancing their smiles.

She offers a comprehensive range of dental treatments, including fillings, crowns, post and core, veneers, and dentures, as well as more procedures like root canal therapy, bridges, and composite bonding. Passionate about improving the aesthetic and functional aspects of dentistry, Chakshu is dedicated to making every patient feel comfortable and confident in their dental health.

Dr. Inga qualified as a dental surgeon in 2003 and has since practiced advanced dentistry in the Bath and Bristol areas. With a strong focus on implant dentistry, she completed a three-year Master’s degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol in 2018.

Dr. Inga accepts referrals from other dental professionals for implant treatments and has extensive experience in both complex restorative procedures and cosmetic dentistry. She specializes in replacing missing teeth with dental implants and has significant expertise in orthodontics, including the use of both visible and ceramic braces. As a certified Invisalign provider, she also offers smile makeovers through cosmetic teeth whitening, gap closure, and shape correction using composite bonding, veneers, and crowns.
