Meet our Team at Mansfield Dental Practice

Anita has a wealth of expertise in dentistry, especially in providing care for the nervous. She started her career working in both Birmingham and at Leeds Dental Hospital, where she discovered a passion for periodontology. She later completed a Master’s Degree, specialising in periodontology, meanwhile teaching postgraduates. Anita has also worked in a specialist practice on advanced periodontology, later becoming a Clinical Director, where she worked with patients with disabilities and special needs. During this time, she completed her certificate in Medical Education and an Msc in Healthcare Leadership and Management.

Today, Anita divides her time between working part-time in general practice and pursuing her hobbies of travelling, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Better known as ‘Rocky’ by the team and his patients, Dr. Takhar has worked as a Dentist in Nottingham in various practices, ever since qualifying from Valencia, Spain in 2016. Rocky’s daily motivation has been to provide a thorough and personalized service to all his patients. His day to day work is geared towards biomimetic, minimally invasive general dentistry and cosmetic dental work.Rocky also provides dental Implants here at Mansfield Dental Practice and can provide full arch cases. Each case is extensively planned to ensure success and longevity.

Rocky is a provider of Invisalign short term orthodontics, is experienced in smile rehabilitations, focusing on providing biomechanically sound yet aesthetic restorations. He has completed restorative courses run by the likes of Dr Christopher Orr in London Bridge and Dr Didier Dietschi, Senior professor at the University of Geneva. Outside dentistry Rocky is kept busy by his 2 children and family and supports his local community.

Meet Maria, Maria joined the practice in 2023 and has worked in the local area for many years! Maria is already popular with her patients and understands that some adults and children may be apprehensive to visit the practice. Maria likes to spend time with her patients making them feel at ease. Maria is always improving her dental skills and regularly attends courses to keep her knowledge up to date. When she isnt working as a dentist you will find her spending time with her family. Maria speaks Spanish & Engliish.

The British Academy of Comprehensive Evidence based and clinical Implant Dentistry

Nikolaos, better known as Nikos to his team and patients, has been a dentist in the local area for over 15 years and has a wealth of experience within dentistry. Nikos is offering NHs dentistry at the practice. He has a calm demeanour. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and travelling when he can.

MSc in Periodontology at the University of Central Lancashire in 2022

Rob qualified from the University of Manchester in 2016, he worked for several years as a private hygienist in the Manchester area treating advanced cases of gum disease.

Rob has been working since as an Associate Dentist in the Manchester area for the NHS.

He completed his MSc in Periodontology at the University of Central Lancashire in 2022. He is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and the American Academy of Periodontology.

Rob’s interest is disease management, stabilising gum disease and preventing it’s progression.

Meet Zarina, Zarina started at the practice in 2023 and has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry. Zarina has worked in the local area for many years and prides herself in excellent patient care. Outside dentisrty you will find Zarina enjoying time with her family and friends!

Meet Claire, our hygienist! Claire is passionate about oral health and has a wealth of knowledge in this field! Claire will spend time at your appointment looking at your oral health routine and making recommendations to ensure you have the best routines at home! Claire is familiar with all the latest techniques to ensure you leave the practice with a healthy smile. Claire offers direct access appointments too, so no need to see the dentist! In her spare time Claire loves to spend time with her family and friends!

Shwetha recently joined the practice and is going to be offering NHS treatment as a Dental Therapist along with private direct access treatments such as Airflow. Swetha will be working alongside our dentists to provide NHS dentistry for patients visiting the practice. 

Meet Gabby, Gabby is a qualified dental Nurse supporting the clinicians at the practice. Gabby is also responsible for the practice compliance making sure we are upto date with latest guidance and protocols. Outside work Gabby loves sports and is a keen footballer!

Meet Jess, Jess is a qualified dental nurse who runs out social media platforms! Jess ensures that all our patients receive a high standard of care and supports all the clinicians at Mansfield. Outside the practice Jess enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family.

Lauren works part time here at Mansfield, alongside working at the Chesterfield Hospital maxillofacial department. Lauren has assisted with a range of treatments, such as hygiene and therapy, general dentistry, and specialist treatments such as oral surgery, facial aesthetics, and orthodontics. Lauren enjoys travelling and working on fitness goals.

Rachael recently joined the practice and has been a dental nurse for many years. Rachael has a passion for patient care and always has a happy smile on her face to welcome patients to the practice. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys spending time with her family.

Meet Rachel, our receptionist. Rachel is also a qualified dental nurse too with many years of experience and knowledge. Rachel runs our appointment systems and ensures the admin side is taken care of! Rachel ensures the practice runs smoothly and works with all the clincians to support patient care! Outside of the practice, Rachel enjoys spending time with her friends and family and walking in the countryside with her 2 dogs!

Stephanie has worked in dentistry for over 30 years she has a wealth of experience in patient care and communication, Stephanie loves spending time with her family in her spare time and reading.
