Meet our Team at Menlove Dental Surgery

Dr Sukh Bhavra qualified in 1993 at Liverpool University Dental Hospital. Following qualification he worked as both a House Officer and Senior House Officer at the regional Maxillio-Facial Unit Aintrees NHS Trust and also at Countess of Chester Hospital.

Following Vocational Training year in Broadgreen he held various positions in the Community Dental Services, Republic of Ireland, Prison Dentistry, and General Dental Practice.

Sukh has been an Associate Dentist at Menlove Dental since 2015 and is particularly interested in Oral Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Endodontics (root canal therapy) as part of his work as a General Dental Practitioner.

Outside work he enjoys the gym, tennis, cycling, swimming, gardening and spending time with his two daughters.

I graduated as a dentist from Gr. T. Popa University, Iasi, Romania in 2012 and began my post graduation training before moving to England in 2014. I started working in an NHS practice where I have thrived in my career and more recently have completed a number of post-grad courses in aspects of cosmetic dentistry, mainly focusing on restorative cases.

I enjoy being able to provide high standards of care to patients and helping them to overcome any fears or anxiety they may have in relation to dentistry and treatment. I aim to make patients feel as relaxed as possible during their visits and make the time as enjoyable as possible, hopefully leaving a positive impact to encourage building a successful bond with patients.

Outside of dentistry i love spending my spare time baking.

After qualifying from Liverpool in 2017 Joe worked in Disley within the Peak District for a year, before returning home to Merseyside where he has practiced since.

Joe likes to put his patients at ease and make them as comfortable as possible during their treatment. Recently completing a course in composite bonding, he is also constantly looking to further his skills within cosmetic dentistry.

Outside of Dentistry, Joe is a season ticket holder at Everton FC and also enjoys playing football, golf and cycling.

Sarah first started at Menlove Dental Practice as a nurse in 1997. Following years of experience caring for patients, Sarah took a break from Menlove in 2008 to study hygiene therapy, returning in her new capacity in 2010.

Sarah thoroughly enjoys her role as a Dental Hygienist / Therapist and strives to put a smile on the faces of each and every patient she looks after.

In her spare time she is kept busy looking after her two boys, Harry and Alfie.

Mrs Wendy Rimmer studied at Liverpool University Dental Hospital and gained qualifications in Dental Hygiene (1995) and Dental Therapy (1998).

Wendy has previously worked in general practice both NHS, private and various health centres. She also worked as the staff hygienist at Liverpool Dental Hospital and with Boots Healthcare Services based in Southport.

She enjoys being part of Menlove Dental team as she feels she can offer a high standard of hygiene treatment and ongoing care.
