Meet our Team at Muirhead Dental Practice

Anthony (also known as Tony) graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2008 and is one of our mixed NHS and private dentists. Tony chose dentistry as a career because he had always had an interest in healthcare, and he liked working with his hands, so it seemed like the right choice for him. His desire to provide the best healthcare he could for his patients drove him to complete additional qualifications such as MJDF and postgraduate certificates in teaching and learning and dental risk mitigation. Although Tony has a love for all aspects of dentistry, he has completed an Invisalign course and has also undergone further training in orthodontics and restorative dentistry, including composite bonding.

Outside of his busy work schedule, he loves to spend time with his family and also enjoys gardening.

Anjalee graduated in Dentistry from the University of Liverpool in 2022 and completed her Foundation training at Muirhead Dental Practice, where she now works as an Associate Dentist.

Dentistry has always been a passion of mine from a young age, and it was my dad who was my inspiration. Watching him care for patients was always fascinating to me, and I set it as my life goal to follow in his footsteps.

What I like most about dentistry is the ability to make an immediate impact. Whether it’s repairing a broken tooth or relieving pain through an extraction, helping patients leave with a sense of comfort and relief is incredibly rewarding.

In addition to providing NHS dentistry, I am certified in Invisalign, and I enjoy enhancing smiles through subtle improvements.

Outside of the clinic, I have a love for dance and learning different dance styles, both recreationally and competitively. My weekends are often spent catching up with friends, but I also appreciate a good takeaway and movie night in.

Reece graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2022, and he is one of our NHS dentists. Reece’s favourite thing about working in dentistry is that it's a hands-on job and there is always something to keep him busy. Reece became a dentist as he enjoyed science and art in school and wanted a career that highlighted both of those aspects. In his spare time he likes to watch football, specifically Liverpool.

Kiana graduated from Birmingham in 2023 and is one of our NHS dentists here in Muirhead Dental Practice; since graduating, she has continued her professional development by completing training in Invisalign. Kiana pursued a career in dentistry as she became interested during her work experience, enjoying both the practical element and helping the public. Her favourite part of the job is her patient’s treatment journey and seeing them happy with the final result. Outside of work Kiana has a special interest in commercial dance and likes to travel to visit friends and family.

Adam graduated from Newcastle University in 2024 and is currently our foundation dentist and practises general dentistry. Adam was fascinated with art and creativity growing up and also had a passion for helping people, which made him gravitate towards dentistry as a career. Even though he is currently on his foundation programme, in the future he would love to continue his development by completing cosmetic dentistry courses. His favourite part of the job is patient satisfaction, as he loves to see people happy with themselves. In his spare time he likes to play sports such as football and basketball as well as drawing.
