Carmen qualified as a General Dental Practitioner in 2000, graduating from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest. After qualifying, she established her own practice, where for 10 years she has gained a wealth of dental experience and honed her skills. During this time, she developed a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry, which she continues to this day. She moved to Derbyshire in 2010 where she is delivering aesthetic and general dentistry to this day for her loyal patients.

Carmen has been practising dentistry in various aesthetic procedures for over 14 years, spanning more than half her working career. She enjoys ongoing development in this area across the latest techniques, training in Bioclear bonding treatment, SmileFast, FirstFit makeovers and Invisalign clear aligners. This ensures Dr. Bodil can offer her patients a holistic approach with the best in aesthetic dentistry, across all aspects of a smile makeover.

Outside of work, Carmen loves playing squash and scuba diving and she has recently taken up skiing.

Magda graduated from the prestigious Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland in 2003. She then pursued Postgraduate training in endodontics and she is a fully certified Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic dentist, she is currently working towards an additional diploma in this area of dentistry. Magdalena is an excellent dentist with a passion for improving the smile and confidence of her patients.

She is an Invisalign provider at South Normanton Dental Practice and is able to combine your treatment with any other aspects of a Smile Makeover process. This helps us achieve your dental dreams! She offers a unique Bioclear Method bonding treatment and Smilefast smile makeovers. Magdalena is also a dentist with a special interest in Endodontics, providing painless and hassle-free root canal treatment for her patients.

Magdalena is a trusted and professional dentist, loved by all of her patients across different practices in Derbyshire, as well as by her staff! She has impeccable attention to detail and will always ensure you are happy with the results of your treatment! Magdalena is currently offering consultations for all adult patients interested in Invisalign.

Outside of her passion for dentistry, she enjoys cooking and baking her famous fruitcakes. She also loves Salsa on the weekends!

Mahmoud will be offering FREE implant consultation for the time being.

Mahmoud qualified with a bachelor's degree in Dental Medicine and Surgery in 2006. He was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDC RCS Ed.) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015.

He always had an interest in Restorative dentistry and gained his master's degree in Restorative Dental Practice from Eastman Dental Institute at University College London (UCL) in 2020. He also has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Implantology. He completed his training in implant dentistry at the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry in Leeds (BAIRD).

Mahmoud has a very friendly personality, is a very good listener, and is passionate about his job. He is also interested in living a healthy lifestyle and likes to travel.

Shahzad is a new addition to our team, but he is already loved by many patients and is described as kind, caring and thorough. He graduated with a Dental Surgery degree from Gandhara University in 2005 and has many years of valuable experience in various areas of dentistry. He especially enjoys oral surgery and has extensive experience in extractions.

Suhael qualified from Manchester University in 1999 and has been an Educational Supervisor for new and overseas dentists since 2012. Earlier in his career, he took various posts in restorative dentistry

and Max-Fax departments, before working in a senior role in special care dentistry.

He is now settled into general practice and has been with us for many years. Dr Zaro is a valued member of the team who works extremely hard to help patients access our NHS services. He is a talented surgeon and can handle difficult extractions with ease. Suhael is an asset to the team and an extremely versatile clinician with years of valuable experience in various areas.

Dr Zaro lives in Nottinghamshire, where he lives with his wife and children. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys various sports and is very talented musically!

Jonathan is a long-standing member of the South Normanton Practice, providing his extensive skills and expertise in periodontics. He graduated from Sheffield University in 2013 with a Hygiene Therapy Degree and has been successfully helping our patients maintain their oral health for several years now. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys mountain biking as well training at the gym and being active.

Carly is a Dental Technician who works closely with patients who require any type of denture treatment. She is adored by patients in South Normanton where she provides carefully crafted denture work. Carly is an experienced technician who loves seeing her patients smile and providing them with confidence and comfort. She is available on Mondays and is accepting patients for denture consultations.
