Dr. Christian Guenin, following in his father’s footsteps, offers pain-free dental solutions to families and individuals. Graduating from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Dental Institute in 2010, he pursued Vocational Training in North London, excelling in both NHS and private dentistry. With a focus on Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery, he became a Senior House Officer at Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals, specialising in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Guenin’s expertise encompasses soft and hard tissue surgery, oral medicine, and cosmetic dentistry, including implants. Fluent in French, his family heritage is steeped in a tradition of craftsmanship, including watchmakers and dentists.

Recognised for his humanitarian efforts, he received “The Humanitarian Award” in 2013 for his voluntary work with the Maasai in Kenya, leading to an appointment on the board of the World Dental Health Organisation affiliated with Loma Linda Dental School, California. As a qualified dentist since 2016, I began my journey marked by a combined Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from Leeds University. Throughout my career, I’ve served in both NHS and Private practices, consistently delivering comprehensive dental care. My commitment to providing improved patient care led me to recently achieve a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry from Eastman Dental University in December 2023. With a profound interest in restorative dentistry, I wish to continue to improve people’s oral health and smiles, striving to make a meaningful difference in every patient’s life.

Maria is a highly accomplished, skilled and caring dentist. She has a keen eye for detail and achieves excellent cosmetic outcomes for her patients. With her professional and welcoming approach, she puts both adults and children quickly at ease.

Maria qualified as a Dentist from the Medical University of Sofia. She then spent 18 months as a volunteer dentist in a Military hospital in Greece, where she worked for the Endodontic department doing root canal treatments under the use of a microscope. At the same time, she was working in a fully private practice as a principal dentist.

Since then, she has continued developing her clinical skills and has undertaken extensive additional training, and she is currently on a year-long postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry

Maria provides all kinds of routine and advanced cosmetic dentistry procedures. These include composite bonding, Invisalign, veneers and teeth whitening.

I am Dr. Payal Shah, a dedicated dentist with a rich tapestry of experience in the realm of oral healthcare.

In 2007, I proudly graduated with honors, earning my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. Embarking on a journey of lifelong learning, I immersed myself in various facets of dentistry to hone my skills and contribute meaningfully to the field.

My professional journey commenced with a robust foundation training, and following that, I honed my expertise in the Oral and Maxillofacial as well as Restorative departments during a fulfilling two-year stint at a hospital, while completing my MJDF postgraduate examinations. Subsequently, I transitioned into practice, seamlessly blending National Health Service (NHS) and private dental work. This diverse experience allowed me to engage with a spectrum of cases, enriching my clinical repertoire.

Eager to enhance my knowledge, I pursued postgraduate courses in Medical Education, Endodontics, and Restorative Aesthetic Dentistry. Armed with this specialized knowledge, I continually strive to offer advanced and comprehensive dental care to my patients.

With a passion for nurturing the next generation of dental professionals, I dedicated three years as a Foundation Trainer. In this role, I guided and supervised newly qualified dentists, providing them with the support and insights crucial for their professional development. Additionally, my role as an examiner for overseas dentists allowed me to contribute to the global dental community.

My commitment to excellence is not only reflected in my clinical practice but also in my dedication to ongoing education and mentorship, especially as a clinical lead for 4 London dental practices. I find immense joy in sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in the dental profession.

As I reflect on my journey so far, I remain deeply passionate about dentistry and committed to making a positive impact in patient care and education. I look forward to embracing new challenges, contributing to the advancement of dental knowledge, and continuing to evolve as a practitioner and educator.

Qualified in 2016 from King’s College London with a 1st class, Radhika has trained under the East of England scheme and has a keen interest in training, she has completed a Postgraduate Diploma and is now a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh MFDS.

Radhika enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but also has a keen interest in Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry. She truly listens to her patient's needs and aims to build their confidence and improve their smiles. To deliver this with great quality, she has undergone several training courses to build her skill set. She is a certified Invisalign provider (straightening teeth with a clear aligner system) which may then follow with whitening teeth and composite bonding (white fillings to shape the teeth and mask any gaps/uneven edges of teeth)

Radhika is also trained and certified in carrying out Facial aesthetics, from the award-winning – Avanti Aesthetics Academy in Harley Street. She carries out Botox, Fillers and also skin treatments such as microneedling, and medical-grade chemical peels.

Radhika believes in treating patients with a holistic approach and is excellent with nervous patients and children. Her aim is to alleviate patient's fears about coming to the dentist and building a great rapport with her patients from the time you meet her. She has treated a wide range of patients in different areas including Essex, East Acton, Dunstable and Harrow.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys playing badminton and netball and loves to travel!

Iain started his career in healthcare as an intensive care nurse, working in multiple critical care units both in the UK and Australia caring for patients with life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

Following a career change into the field of dentistry and after completing his foundation training in general dental practice, he went on to do further hospital training in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. During his training years, he worked as a senior house officer in a busy acute general hospital in Dorset as part of the head and neck surgical team. He also underwent further training at Dundee Dental Hospital in the oral surgery department where he had a varied weekly clinic timetable including minor oral surgery, oral medicine, supervising student extraction clinics, dysplasia clinics, a paediatric GA list and intravenous sedation.

Following his hospital training years, he then worked as a speciality doctor at a maxillofacial department in Devon. His role here was assessing and treating referrals from GPs and dentists on a variety of head and neck conditions including acute dental pathology, trauma, orthodontic surgery, cancer and oral medicine. A large part of his work was surgically removing teeth, both in a district general hospital setting as well as a community clinic. Whilst in Devon he also worked for Devon Doctors, managing referrals from the NHS 111 service by giving advice over the phone or by treating patients in an urgent care clinic on bank holidays and weekends.

Moving to London in September 2021, he then returned to general dental practice where he has been working since. He has completed a postgraduate diploma in Implant Prosthodontics which enables him to place and restore dental implants. He also works part-time at Queen Mary University as a clinical lecturer in oral surgery teaching and assessing undergraduate dental students.

Dr Gibson is currently accepting referrals for complex teeth extractions under local anaesthetic. Please include in your referral to the above email address the tooth to be extracted, the patient’s medical history and a list of medications, along with an adequate radiograph showing the full length of the tooth.
