Meet our Team at Gentle Dental Care of Worcester

Abu graduated from the University of Cardiff in 2010. He completed his vocational training year within the West Midlands area. Abu became a member of the team in Worcester in August 2011 and has been a member of the team ever since!!

He enjoys all areas of general dentistry and aims to always provide high quality and ethical dentistry. He strives to build good working relationships with staff and always tries his best to make sure his patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their dental visits and actually look forward to returning. 

Abu is always looking to keep up to date and current with the latest trends in dentistry and over the years has attended various courses. Most recently he gained a PG Cert in Restorative Dentistry and Minor Oral Surgery. and really enjoys doing more complex dentistry. He is hoping to undertake training in Dental Implantology later in 2024. Away from dentistry

 Abu enjoys spending time with his family, loves to travel whenever the opportunity arises and is a fanatical watch collector. 

I was trained in Cape Town, South Africa and qualified in 1992 and relocated to the United Kingdom in 2002.

I joined Worcester Gentle Dental in Oct 2010.

I have been working in the National Health Service providing general dentistry services within the scope of but not limited to that of the NHS. The oral health care I provide mainly includes treatments ranging from routine maintenance to restorative work on patients of all ages. I also do a limited range of private cosmetic treatments.

The most rewarding part of my day is to help those anxious patients overcome their fear of dentistry and to build long-lasting relationships not only with patients but with all staff members working alongside me

Gabriel is currently working at our Worcester clinic, carrying out private dentistry and facial aesthetics.

He started his Journey with us at Gentle Dental Evesham in June 2022 and came to Gentle Dental Worcester in August 2023.

He has his own facial aesthetics clinic in Edgbaston, Birmingham, that he currently owns with his wife Michelle.

Dental qualifications: Qualified DDS for 6 years and has a master's in aesthetic dental restorations, master's in dental prosthetic restorations on implants, botox for TMJ, bruxism and migraine. 

Facial aesthetic qualifications: advanced botox and filler practitioner, non surgical rhinoplasty and profile balancing.

Special interest in facial aesthetics and TMJ/bruxism botox.

My Career in Dentistry began in 2004 where I worked as a dental nurse in NHS and private practice.  

I soon became interested in being more hands-on and really making a difference to people’s oral health. After being accepted onto the dental hygiene and therapy course at Kings College London, I qualified in June 2010 and went on to work in NHS, private and community dental care.

I really enjoy educating patients about their oral health and forming good trusting relationships so they feel more confident and relaxed under my care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, walking my dog, cooking, reading and running

Asim graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Khyber Medical University, Pakistan, in 2021. Following this, he completed a one-year house job at Rehman College of Dentistry from 2021 to 2022, gaining valuable clinical experience.

Prior to relocating to the UK in June 2024, Asim established a successful private practice in Pakistan. In October 2024, he successfully obtained the GDC Dental Therapist license, enabling him to provide comprehensive oral healthcare services at Gentle Dental Care, Worcester.

Asim maintains a strong commitment to professional development and stays abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry through reading dental journals, attending online courses, and participating in dental conferences.

Outside of work, Asim enjoys e-gaming, is a car enthusiast, and is a tech lover.

I am Fatemeh, the new NHS dentist at Gentle Dental Care. I’m thrilled to be part of this wonderful team! I graduated from the University of Szeged in Hungary, and I’m excited to bring my passion for dentistry to our patients. With a focus on preventive care, restorative treatments, and patient education, I’m committed to helping you achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
