How it works

1

Cleaning and isolation.

Teeth receiving sealant are thoroughly cleaned and dried.

2

Etching.

A solution is applied to tooth to create a rough surface, to which sealant can adhere.

3

Rinsing and drying.

Solution is rinsed, and tooth is dried to remove any moisture, essential for sealant to bond.

4

Sealant application.

Sealant is applied to pits and fissures of the tooth; a brush may be used for even coverage.

5

Curing.

A special light cures the sealant, ensuring the sealant forms a durable, protective layer.
