A Day In The Life: Zhila Nickbakht - Treatment Co-ordinator
Day in the life
I wake up around 5:30am and cook dinner for the family to eat in the evening. I then get myself ready for work, wake the children up and then get them ready for school. After the school run, I head into work and have a chat with the team. Then it’s onto the working day, where I could be doing anything from helping the receptionist team, covering for a nurse, doing treatment plan consultations, working through financials with patients or completing paperwork. We will break for lunch, and we often chat and eat lunch together as a team. Then once the afternoon’s work is done, we usually finish at 5:30pm, and by 6:00pm I’m home to spend time with my children, as my husband works in the evenings.
I work full-time, and then in my spare time as well as looking after my family, I am an aesthetics practitioner. I offer facial aesthetics, micro needling, facial fillers, dermaplaning and I’ve recently completed courses in scalp pigmentation, laser treatment and microblading. So, in the evenings or at the weekends I’ll either be studying or seeing clients for my business too. It’s a busy life, and people often ask me when I get to sleep. For me an early night is usually 1am. But while I’m young, fit and able I wouldn’t have life any other way!
