How Overseas Recruitment At Rodericks Dental Partners Works
We have a number of mentored positions available across England and Wales for you to work with a committed mentor and obtain your NHS performer number. You can meet as many mentors and practices as necessary to ensure that they are the best match for you. You will begin in practice working on RDP, an independent private plan so you can begin working clinically as soon as you have your GDC number. We will then support you with obtaining documentation ready in preparation for applying for your performer number.
We also have a dedicated Overseas Training Programme Director (OTPD) on hand as that extra support. They will conduct your clinical interview to determine your clinical skills to date and areas you may need that little extra focus. The clinical interview will help structure your initial 2 week induction process, whereby you will shadow your mentor and ensure you are comfortable to start seeing patients. Once you have obtained your performer number, the OTPD will support you with your NHS conditions and provide you with the tools to complete these, so you can really focus on your clinical time. This is your journey and will be taken at your own pace to ensure you become a lifelong GDC compliant Dentist.
Within your second year with us, you will be a part of our Overseas +1 programme, to continue your development. This includes a dedicated clinical advisor, and a structured year of free hands on courses, including; endodontics, composite bonding, restorative and more! You'll be a part of a group of like-minded clinicians beginning their career within the UK.
We provide Tier 2 Skilled Worker Visas, and work with an external immigration team to take you through the process step-by-step. Our aim is to make this step in your career as smooth as possible by supporting you through every step of the way.
